What is DOMIHUNT?
A service where participants' browsers search for unregistered short domain names together. Confirmed-free names are registered by the operator right away and sold in our own auction. Everyone who helped earns one tenth of the estimated floor resale price as points.
Will it slow down my computer?
Barely. Only one low-power background worker runs, and it spends almost all its time waiting on the network. The pace is held under each registry's per-IP limits automatically. Press Stop or close the tab to stop instantly.
What gets sent?
Only domain-name lookups, from your IP address, to Cloudflare's public DNS and registries' public RDAP servers. Nothing on your device — files, history — is read.
How many points do I get?
One tenth of the purchased domain's estimated floor resale price, converted to yen (calculated after deducting the 20% sales fee, or 25% without promotion settings). A domain estimated at $120 pays about 1,350 points. Checking names alone earns nothing.
Solo or pool?
Solo pays you the full reward for domains you find. Pool splits every find among all members in proportion to names checked in the last 24 hours.
How do I withdraw?
In Wallet, pick a Bitrefill gift card (Amazon, Apple, Google Play and many more) and issue it. You can choose any amount your balance covers, starting from the smallest.
How are auction prices set?
They start at 12× the estimated floor and fall 30% each day. If unsold after 3 days, the starting price is halved and it is relisted. Prices never go below a fixed minimum.
